UNACCEPTABLE: supreme court stripped of authority in pledge cases
four days ago the US house of representatives, not giving a rat's arse about the separation of powers so basic to our system of government, approved legislation that would prevent the US supreme court from ruling on whether the meaningless words «under god» should be stricken from the pledge of allegiance. the arrogance and the blatant transparency of the house's partisan maneuvering is revolting. i vehemently protest this intolerable and most offensive violation of the letter and spirit of our national constitution.the full story.
