what a sad indictment on contemporary man. the death of the classical music industry is imminent and i just learned it's inevitable. i own an exhaustive collection of the very best recordings in the genre and in the last few years have only bought very specific, hand-picked albums. norman lebrecht tells us
what's happened. we'll have to then figure out why and compare it to the rest of the recording industry. rather timely matter for discussion given the
latest reprehensible and unacceptable actions undertaken by its trade association.
